en las mascotas, indic\u00f3 el director de Salud en el municipio, Juan Esteban Aguilar
Esquivel, por ello no se baja la guardia con la vacunaci\u00f3n antirr\u00e1bica en el Hospital
Municipal Veterinario.
Alrededor de 350 dosis se han aplicado en este nosocomio, \u201cen muchas ocasiones
es m\u00e1s una situaci\u00f3n de creencia\u201d, subray\u00f3 el funcionario, al explicar que las
personas confunden con rabia que los animales jadeen y generen mayor
secreci\u00f3n salival, s\u00edntomas que generados por el calor.
El programa de vacunaci\u00f3n antirr\u00e1bica es permanente y ante una situaci\u00f3n de
agresi\u00f3n por alg\u00fan animal \u00e9ste se tiene que resguardar, para que se realice la
vigilancia y se descarte dicha condici\u00f3n. Es importante la responsabilidad de los
due\u00f1os de las mascotas para tomar las medidas pertinentes.
Cabe hacer menci\u00f3n que, en el Hospital Municipal Veterinario, ubicado en Bulevar
de la Juventud 1006 A, con horario de 24 horas, se cuenta con dosis de vacuna
contra la rabia, ante ello se exhorta a la poblaci\u00f3n a llevar a los lomitos y michis
