Las autoridades estadounidenses recuperaron en California<\/strong> el cad\u00e1ver de un migrante en el mar<\/strong>, mientras las mexicanas rescataron a una mujer que lo acompa\u00f1aba en su intento llegar nadando a Estados Unidos<\/strong> desde M\u00e9xico<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los migrantes, que no fueron identificados<\/strong>, trataron de llegar al pa\u00eds por el Parque Estatal Border Field,<\/strong> un \u00e1rea en el l\u00edmite de la ciudad de Imperial Beach, en el condado de San Diego<\/strong> (California), y Playas de Tijuana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al \u00e1rea, que est\u00e1 dividida por la valla fronteriza<\/strong> que se adentra hasta el mar<\/strong>, llegaron los equipos de rescate para salvar a la mujer, que se aferraba a la cerca fronteriza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La migrante fue rescatada por socorristas de Tijuana<\/strong>, inform\u00f3 el portavoz del Departamento de Bomberos y Rescate de San Diego, Jos\u00e9 Ysea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despu\u00e9s fue llevada al lado estadounidense<\/strong> para recibir atenci\u00f3n<\/strong> m\u00e9dica<\/strong>, y fue puesta bajo custodia de la Patrulla Fronteriza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La mujer dijo a los rescatistas que se lanz\u00f3 al mar junto a un hombre<\/strong>, pero los socorristas no vieron a una segunda persona en el agua en el momento de su rescate, explic\u00f3 Ysea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aproximadamente media hora despu\u00e9s de la llamada<\/strong> inicial, los salvavidas de Imperial Beach encontraron el cuerpo de un hombre a 60 a 90 metros al norte de la valla fronteriza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El n\u00famero de muertes de inmigrantes que tratan de llegar a Estados Unidos<\/strong> en la zona se ha incrementado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, seg\u00fan dijo a Efe el c\u00f3nsul general de M\u00e9xico en San Diego, California, Carlos Gonz\u00e1lez Guti\u00e9rrez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2020 las autoridades<\/strong> reportaron la muerte de 20 mexicanos en la zona que cubre el consulado de Gonz\u00e1lez Guti\u00e9rrez<\/strong> y para 2021 fueron 32.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
