Seg\u00fan la \u00faltima Encuesta Nacional de Seguridad P\u00fablica Urbana (ENSU) del Inegi, Culiac\u00e1n es la cuarta ciudad con mayor percepci\u00f3n de inseguridad en M\u00e9xico. En solo tres meses, la percepci\u00f3n aument\u00f3 del 55.7% en septiembre al 90.6% en diciembre de 2024, un incremento del 34.9%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Culiac\u00e1n comparte este preocupante lugar con Tuxtla Guti\u00e9rrez, Chiapas, y otras ciudades como Villahermosa, Tabasco (95.3%), Uruapan, Michoac\u00e1n (92.5%) y Fresnillo, Zacatecas (90.9%). Mazatl\u00e1n tambi\u00e9n vio un aumento significativo en la percepci\u00f3n de inseguridad, del 27.7%, alcanzando el 67.7%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En contraste, Los Mochis, Ahome, Sinaloa, se posiciona entre las ciudades con menor percepci\u00f3n de inseguridad a nivel nacional, con un 24.6%, junto con San Pedro Garza Garc\u00eda, Nuevo Le\u00f3n (14%), y Piedras Negras, Coahuila (18.7%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El conflicto entre las dos facciones suma m\u00e1s de cuatro meses, habiendo comenzado el 9 de septiembre de 2024 tras la detenci\u00f3n de Ismael \u2018El Mayo\u2019 Zambada.
