En su car\u00e1cter de integrante del Constituyente Permanente, el Congreso del Estado de Durango aprob\u00f3 la minuta que reforma la Constituci\u00f3n Pol\u00edtica de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos para prohibir el ma\u00edz transg\u00e9nico en el pa\u00eds y salvaguardar las variedades nativas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fue la Comisi\u00f3n de Puntos Constitucionales quien elabor\u00f3 el dictamen correspondiente, en virtud de la iniciativa que promovi\u00f3 la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, la cual busca proteger las 59 razas de ma\u00edz que se cultivan en M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Con el aval de las y los legisladores, el documento establece la modificaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica del ma\u00edz no solo afecta su estructura biol\u00f3gica, sino tambi\u00e9n su valor cultural y gastron\u00f3mico. Proteger las variedades tradicionales permite conservar sus cualidades, fundamentales para garantizar una alimentaci\u00f3n nutritiva, suficiente y culturalmente adecuada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Con esta aprobaci\u00f3n, el Congreso de Durango reafirma su compromiso con la soberan\u00eda alimentaria del pa\u00eds y la conservaci\u00f3n del ma\u00edz nativo como patrimonio biocultural de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
