El diputado Bernab\u00e9 Aguilar Carrillo present\u00f3 la iniciativa de reformas y adiciones a la Ley del Instituto de la Defensor\u00eda P\u00fablica, enfocada en prevenir y erradicar cualquier acto de discriminaci\u00f3n en la prestaci\u00f3n de sus servicios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Durante su intervenci\u00f3n, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el derecho a una defensa adecuada no debe depender del origen \u00e9tnico, condici\u00f3n de discapacidad o situaci\u00f3n migratoria, ya que estas circunstancias suelen convertirse en barreras estructurales que limitan el acceso efectivo a la justicia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Expuso que, de acuerdo con datos del INEGI, m\u00e1s de 25 millones de personas en M\u00e9xico se reconocen como ind\u00edgenas, mientras que cerca del 6 por ciento de la poblaci\u00f3n vive con alguna discapacidad. Asimismo, destac\u00f3 que miles de personas migrantes transitan o residen en el pa\u00eds en condiciones de alta vulnerabilidad, enfrentando discriminaci\u00f3n y dificultades para recibir servicios b\u00e1sicos, incluida la atenci\u00f3n jur\u00eddica gratuita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aguilar Carrillo advirti\u00f3 que estas pr\u00e1cticas discriminatorias, lamentablemente, no son ajenas a instituciones encargadas de brindar asesor\u00eda legal gratuita, por lo que resulta indispensable implementar acciones claras y permanentes para corregirlas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En ese sentido, la iniciativa propone que el Instituto de la Defensor\u00eda P\u00fablica implemente mecanismos medibles y permanentes para identificar, prevenir y erradicar actos discriminatorios, incluyendo capacitaci\u00f3n obligatoria en derechos humanos para el personal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
