De acuerdo con cifras preliminares del Instituto Nacional de Estad\u00edstica y Geograf\u00eda (INEGI), publicadas en septiembre de 2026, el estado ocupa el quinto lugar nacional, con una tasa estandarizada de <strong>9.1 suicidios por cada 100 mil habitantes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La cifra supera el promedio nacional, que se ubic\u00f3 en 6.7 por cada 100 mil habitantes, seg\u00fan las Estad\u00edsticas de Defunciones Registradas correspondientes a 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La diferencia coloca a Durango por encima de la media del pa\u00eds y evidencia la importancia de atender un problema que tiene consecuencias profundas para las familias y las comunidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque los datos estad\u00edsticos permiten dimensionar la situaci\u00f3n, tambi\u00e9n plantean la necesidad de fortalecer las acciones de prevenci\u00f3n, la atenci\u00f3n oportuna de la salud mental y el acceso a servicios de apoyo para quienes atraviesan momentos dif\u00edciles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El suicidio es un problema complejo que no puede reducirse a una sola causa. Por ello, la prevenci\u00f3n requiere coordinaci\u00f3n entre autoridades sanitarias, instituciones educativas, familias y sociedad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Las cifras ubican a Durango entre los estados con mayor incidencia.
