Se reporta que Ismael Zambada Imperial alias \u201cMayito Gordo\u201d, hijo del narcotraficante y l\u00edder del C\u00e1rtel de Sinaloa, Ismael \u201cEl Mayo\u201d Zambada, fue liberado este viernes de una c\u00e1rcel en Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El tercer hijo de \u2018El Mayo\u2019 Zambada permanec\u00eda recluido en el Centro de Detenci\u00f3n Metropolitano de San Diego, California, desde su extradici\u00f3n en 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No obstante, fue hasta el 24 de junio del 2022 cuando un juez de la Corte Federal del Distrito Sur de California le dict\u00f3 una breve sentencia de nueve a\u00f1os de prisi\u00f3n por dos cargos de narcotr\u00e1fico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lo anterior, luego de que en abril de 2021 se declar\u00f3 culpable de importar y distribuir metanfetamina, coca\u00edna y mariguana a Estados Unidos, por lo que alcanz\u00f3 un acuerdo con autoridades de ese pa\u00eds para reducir su condena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cabe se\u00f1alar que, a Ismael Zambada Imperial se le tom\u00f3 como cr\u00e9dito el tiempo que estuvo en prisi\u00f3n antes de su condena, desde noviembre del 2014, cuando fue capturado en Culiac\u00e1n, Sinaloa, por elementos de la Secretar\u00eda de Marina, por lo que s\u00f3lo le resta poco m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o de sentencia, la cual cumplir\u00e1 en libertad condicional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
