Ante el avance de la iniciativa para que tanto elementos de la Sedena como de la Marina permanezcan hasta 2028 en tareas de seguridad p\u00fablica, Porfirio Mu\u00f1oz Ledo, ex presidente de la Mesa Directiva de la C\u00e1mara de Diputados, pidi\u00f3 \u201ccompromiso patri\u00f3tico\u201d, ya que en opini\u00f3n de expertos, significar\u00eda la \u201cmilitarizaci\u00f3n\u201d del pa\u00eds. Calific\u00f3 que en las \u201cpuertas democr\u00e1ticas\u201d, as\u00ed como en la \u201cmayor\u00eda de la opini\u00f3n nacional\u201d, hay un rechazo a dicha iniciativa, que cuenta con el respaldo de Morena y sus aliados, as\u00ed como del PRI, que significa la \u201cmilitarizaci\u00f3n de la seguridad p\u00fablica\u201d, y detall\u00f3 que el Senado \u201ctiene la responsabilidad de hacer respetar la Constituci\u00f3n\u201d.
