Termin\u00f3 septiembre como el segundo mes con mayor promedio de homicidios por d\u00eda, con 77.6, la segunda mayor cifra en lo que va de 2022, por detr\u00e1s de mayo, cuando se promediaron 79.7 asesinatos diarios. El Secretariado Ejecutivo del Sistema Nacional de Seguridad P\u00fablica (SESNSP) contabiliz\u00f3 dos mil 329 homicidios dolosos durante el noveno mes del a\u00f1o, un ligero repunte en relaci\u00f3n con agosto, con lo que septiembre es el tercer mes m\u00e1s violento de 2022. El primero es mayo con dos mil 472 y julio con dos mil 331. En el \u00faltimo d\u00eda septembrino se registraron 73 asesinatos. Edomex fue la entidad con mayor n\u00famero de v\u00edctimas, 12; seguida de Guanajuato con siete y Chiapas y Zacatecas con
