La Representaci\u00f3n del IMSS en Durango tiene registro de enero a la fecha se han atendido 50 menores con diagn\u00f3stico de obesidad infantil de los grupo de edades de 5 a 9 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El exceso de peso es un factor desencadenante de mayor riesgo de padecer enfermedades cr\u00f3nico-degenerativas, como diabetes mellitus, hipertensi\u00f3n arterial, afectaci\u00f3n cardiaca, insuficiencia renal y algunos tipos de c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En las Unidades de Medicina Familiar (UMF) del Instituto, se promueve la lactancia materna exclusiva durante primeros seis meses de vida, as\u00ed como el inicio de la alimentaci\u00f3n complementaria a los seis meses un d\u00eda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
La lactancia materna protege al reci\u00e9n nacido contra enfermedades del tracto respiratorio e intestinal, fortalece el acercamiento afectivo en el binomio madre e hijo<\/p>\n\n\n\n
