El gobierno del Condado de San Diego<\/strong>, California, declar\u00f3 una \u201ccrisis humanitaria<\/strong>\u201d despu\u00e9s de que las autoridades<\/strong> fronterizas han liberado<\/strong> en las calles<\/strong> del condado a m\u00e1s de 7 mil 800 solicitantes de asilo<\/a><\/strong> sin ning\u00fan tipo de asistencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Patrulla Fronteriza<\/strong> ha llevado desde la frontera a grupos de migrantes a las ciudades de San Diego, Oceanside y El Caj\u00f3<\/strong>n, y a una estaci\u00f3n del sistema Trolley de transporte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Junta de Supervisores del condado de San Diego declar\u00f3 por unanimidad la emergencia y urgi\u00f3 al Gobierno Federal a hacerse cargo de atender a estos solicitantes de asilo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parte de los migrantes han encontrado ayuda de sus patrocinadores, las personas que los alojar\u00e1n y se har\u00e1n cargo de sus gastos mientras tramitan asilo, pero muchas otras familias permanecen por d\u00edas a la intemperie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La frontera de M\u00e9xico y Estados Unidos<\/strong> experimenta en los \u00faltimos d\u00edas una nueva ola masiva migratoria que ha saturado ciudades de California, Texas y Arizona, y que llev\u00f3 al Gobierno mexicano a comprometerse el fin de semana con Estados Unidos a deportar estos migrantes en su territorio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Patrulla Fronteriza<\/strong> no ha respondido solicitudes de la prensa, pero a mediados de septiembre inform\u00f3 a organizaciones civiles que hab\u00eda comenzado a dejar grupos de migrantes en las calles para despejar sus instalaciones, que estaban colapsadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Junta pidi\u00f3 al gobierno federal que designe recursos y personal para ayudar a los solicitantes de asilo y conectarlos con sus patrocinadores y destinos finales para evitar las liberaciones en las calles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subray\u00f3 adem\u00e1s su oposici\u00f3n a los traslados de solicitantes de asilo desde otros estados y jurisdicciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El condado enviar\u00e1 una carta detallada al Gobierno federal sobre las necesidades espec\u00edficas de las organizaciones no gubernamentales locales y las comunidades, seg\u00fan la declaraci\u00f3n bipartidista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
